Heather and Joe were married on November 8, 2014 at Lambertville Station. The bride and bridesmaids got ready in adorable silk robes with Beautiful Brides Philly on hand providing hair and makeup services. Carina and Amanda of Love Me Do Photography joined the ladies in the bridal suite to capture all the special moments while they got ready.
Heather and Joe’s colors were eggplant and pear green with neutrals throughout. Their wedding invitations and stationery was designed and printed by Minted. The bridesmaids wore Jim Hjelm, Bari Jay, and Dessy in different styles and neutral shades from Country Way Bridal. Heather slipped into her spectacular strapless gown with lace bodice and cascading layers of ruffles from Bijou Bridal. Family friend and owner of Dandelions Florist, Laurel came all the way from New Hampshire to create the wedding florals. Heather’s natural bouquet featured Picasso calla lilies, amnesia roses, mini cymbidiums, dahlias, and seeded eucalyptus.
It was a gorgeous and crisp fall day on the banks of the Delaware River, where the couple had their first look. Their family and wedding party looked on during the photos as Heather and Joe each held a jumbo white balloon with pretty tassels.
Heather and Joe’s wedding style was warm and intimate with lots of candlelight. They incorporated a wine theme, with cork escort cards, candles in DIY cork vases, and bottles of local wine for the favors. Their cocktail hour was held in the modern Rivers Edge lounge, where guests enjoyed the His and Her signature cocktails, Maker’s Mark on the rocks and Caramel Apple Martini.
The reception was held in the recently renovated Riverside Ballroom. Tom and Jon from Lovesick Inc. had guests dancing all night. Ciao Bella Cakes created a delicious 5-tier vanilla cake with cannoli filling. Each vanilla buttercream layer had a different design, including ruffles and rosettes. In addition to the cake, there was a Cold Stone Creamery Ice Cream Station with sweet cream, chocolate, coffee, mint, and cake batter ice cream and different mix ins such as Oreos, brownies, and fudge. A sweet ending to a beautiful day!
