Christina and Jason’s gorgeous coral and gold wedding took place on May 25, 2014 at the Horticulture Center. A close friend officiated their very personalized ceremony, which included songs from some of their favorite musicals performed by Christina’s brother and grandmother. Treasured Bouquet created beautiful bouquets and centerpieces with coral roses and peonies, yellow craspedia, and greenery. Jaci Downs Photography was on hand to capture the day. Eventions Productions provided the string market lights over the dance floor. Starr Events created the delicious menu that included bistro grilled beef tenderloin and grilled branzino. Sweet Elizabeth’s Cakes made a 5-tier red velvet wedding cake with salted caramel buttercream filling in a tree bark impression design with cascading flowers. And DJ Frosty had everyone on the dance floor all. night. long.
Some of my favorite details from their day include their confetti programs, handmade bridal bouquet of antique brooches, the beautiful bridesmaids dresses (I absolutely loved that her maid of honor was in gold!), and the escort cards/guest book. The escort cards were tags and keys clipped to a wire that was strung across a large empty picture frame. A friend was on hand to then take the guests’ photos with a polaroid camera. The guests wrote a little note on the mini polaroid picture and clipped it back to the wire across the frame. So cute!
