With their anniversary coming up, I thought it was a great time to highlight Lisa and Travis’s October 13, 2012 wedding. We work with out of town couples often, but Lisa and Travis planned from the furthest we’ve ever seen… Singapore! In case you’re curious, they’re 12 hours ahead!
Their ceremony took place at the beautiful St. Clement’s Church, followed by a reception at the Westin Philadelphia. Jim Powell of Powell Event Photography was behind the camera and photographed the day beautifully. Travis’s mom is a florist and designed all of the florals for the special day. There were so many personal touches and things that made this wedding special! One of my favorite details were the unique centerpieces, which each included a rose floral arrangement, mercury votives, pizzelles on an antique plate, truffles on an antique glass dish, a bottle of wine that served as their guest book, and an antique cake stand with a petite white cake. Each mini cake had an amazing and different design by Peri Anderson of Brooklyn Girl Bakery. Speaking of cake, the couple’s cake cutting was one of my favorite moments from the night. They cut their cake with a samurai sword and lovingly surprised the maid of honor and best man with a cake smash!
