We’re seeing rustic weddings everywhere and couldn’t think of a better time to share Gemma and Tony’s Normandy Farm wedding. These adorable love birds were married on Friday, October 5, 2012.
While we’d describe the wedding details as rustic, with burlap signs and homemade treats in mason jars, Gemma’s look was glamourous, dramatic, and romantic. The feather hairpiece perfectly complimented her dress, and her gorgeous hair and makeup were done by Mack Stylist.
The couple chose to see each other before the ceremony. They traveled to a local farm for their first look and photos with their bridal party. Tyler Boye of Tyler Boye Photography took some stunning shots. Videographer Noah Stoner of Stoner Media filmed their special day and the trailer can be viewed here. We love that the florist Willow and Thistle incorporated cotton into the bride’s bouquet and groom’s boutonniere, such a subtle and unique way to add rustic texture.
The ceremony took place the Silos Garden with the beautiful barn doors lending the perfect backdrop. A folk singer sang a romantic rendition of “Fools Rush In” as the bride graced the aisle. The couple wrote their own sweet vows. Did we mention Tony is a poet?
