When we first met with Dana, she asked us if we’d ever seen My Big Fat Greek Wedding. She told us she had a huge Greek family and her fiancé’s name is Evan Miller (so close to the movie’s Ian Miller). She told us about some of the Greek ceremony traditions and the Greek dancing that would ensue. We couldn’t wait!
A year and a half later, on August 18, 2012, Dana and Evan tied the knot at St. George Cathedral. Their reception was held at the Atrium at the Curtis Center. The transformation from office building to event venue is amazing. As the day of coordinators, we carried out Dana and Evan’s vision. We love all of the special details that they had planned, especially the He and She frames that explained all of the little things they love about each other and the homemade baklava favors.
Dana and Evan chose a great team of vendors. Michael and Melissa of M2 Photography captured the day so beautifully. You can feel the emotion in their pictures. Beautiful Blooms designed the gorgeous florals and lighting. EBE provided videography by Lance Rivers and entertainment by Milan 77, who had the crowd dancing all. night. long. And the Cescaphe Events team was fabulous.
