Sarah and Joey were married on a beautiful Ocean City, NJ beach on Sunday, September 18th. Not only is this date now their wedding anniversary, it’s also their engagement anniversary and both of their birthdays!

While they aren’t from the area, Ocean City is a place of fond memories for Sarah, Joey and their family (including their engagement), making it the perfect location for their intimate beach ceremony. Helping out of town couples is something we often do. We found the perfect vendors that matched their style and budget and set up planning meetings for Sarah and Joey over the course of one weekend. If couples aren’t able to meet with vendors in person, we set up calls or Skype consultations. In addition to finding and confirming their vendors, we set up their post-ceremony celebration, and coordinated the details of their special day.

The beautiful arch and florals were created by The Manic Botanic. They did an amazing job bringing Sarah’s vision to life and anchoring the arch. It was a very windy day!

This delicious cake, which we were lucky enough to taste, was created by our friends at The Sweet Life Bakery. After the ceremony, the couple and their family gathered in the 17th Street Pavilion to enjoy lemonade and cake. And since we were celebrating two birthdays in addition to a wedding, we sang Happy Birthday before they cut the cake!

After the mini-reception, we went to the boardwalk to take formal couple shots with their amazing photographer Marissa De Cinque. They got some really fun pics at the carousal and boardwalk games!

Congratulations to Sarah and Joey! We were so happy to be a part of their day!
